today, i want to run away with...

ahh...monday. the most dreaded of days.
and taxes are due tomorrow. this year, mine were not pretty.
but we will not talk about that right now.
*sad face*
suffice it to say, that today, i would really really really love to run away with a band of gypsy circus performers.
wanderers. nomads. illusionists....

what about you? do you want to come with?

hope everyone has a great week!!

until next time,

I just stumbled across your blog, and what a trip is was. You have that unusual spirit in your soul, that most of us have, but keep hidden. Bravo, you brave girl! Your art is so delightfully disturbing with a hint of amazing humor. That's a mouth full. I have been wanting to try my hand at paper clay for sometime now, but just haven't taken the plug. Well, I'm intrigued with your blog and must follow. Connie :) Please accept my invitation to visit my blog, and hopefully follow me too. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Oh, where did you find that tin gypsy house, or did you make it?

hi connie! and welcome aboard my little circus train!! i just got back from checking your blog out and i'm a little intimidated by your crafty-arty-awesemeness!!
and, oh, i WISH i could have made that wagon. i saw it here in the bywater area of new orleans. tried to convince my mister that i COULD have a gypsy wagon to park on the street...but alas...

I have a huge love of gypsy wagons and a husband that could build me a beautiful one, but I have no where to park it. No way to get it into the backyard, unless he built it there, and then no way to get it out. I have thought about . . . a stationary wagon, but pulling it down the back roads and camping in it, that's where the fun would come in. Maybe in another life. I am honored to have you following my blog. It's late so I'll close and say, "Have a magnificent day tomorrow and keep blogging, and keep making your marvelous art. Connie :)
